Describe a dish
Some meals have no barcode and no entry anywhere: a thali at a wedding, a curry someone else cooked. Describing it in a sentence gets you an ingredient list, resolved against real foods, with an estimate you can correct before it is logged.
A conversation, not a black box
The breakdown comes back as ingredients with quantities, each matched to a food in the catalog. You can change any of them — swap an ingredient, adjust a quantity, drop something that was not in it — and the estimate updates.
Nothing is logged until you accept it. The estimate is presented as an estimate, because that is what it is.
Questions
- How accurate is it?
- Accurate enough to be worth correcting rather than accurate enough to trust blindly, which is why the ingredients are shown and editable instead of collapsing into one number.
