Readiness body map
Recovery is the input to "what should I train today", and it is per muscle. The readiness map colours a body by how recovered each muscle is, based on what you have trained and when.
Fine muscles, not regions
Recovery is tracked at the level of individual muscles. Averaging into regions produced a body that said "legs: moderate" when your quads were hammered and your hamstrings were untouched, which is a statement with no useful content.
It feeds what gets suggested
The same readiness figures rank the browse tiles and the empty-workout suggestions, so the map and the recommendations cannot disagree.
Questions
- Does it know about soreness?
- It is computed from your training history rather than from how you feel, so it is a model of load, not a substitute for judgement.
