Warm-ups and cool-downs

Warm-up sets are part of the session and should be logged, but counting them as working sets ruins every number downstream. They are recorded as what they are, on both sides of the session.

General, activation, ramp

The warm-up is offered in tiers — general movement, activation for what you are about to train, then ramp sets on the first exercise itself at loads derived from your working weight.

A boundary the numbers respect

The session records where the warm-up ended. Working-set volume, set counts and personal records all start from that line, so ten minutes of ramping does not appear as an unusually good first set.

A cool-down at the end

The finish screen offers a short cool-down matched to what you actually trained, rather than a fixed list.

Questions

Do I have to log warm-ups?
No. If you skip them the boundary simply sits at the start of the session.
